Here is the first video I sent to Andreea to explain one of the concepts of the book.
In the video, I demonstrated the concept of the first 2 spreads, in which the hole on the right page of spread 1 goes through to the left page of spread 2. This mechanics will magically “transport” the character from inside his or her bedroom into the magical forest where they are introduced to Pip Heartwood.
Andreea got to work right away creating a much better version of this mechanic. I was so impressed at her amazing art and how quickly she understood my fumbling explanations.
